The 16th Advanced Accelerator Concepts Workshop (AAC 2014) will be held at the Dolce Hayes Mansion from July 13 - 18, 2014. The workshop is organized through Stanford by Mark Hogan (Chair) and the 2014 Local Organizing Committee.

AAC 2014 is a by-invitation-only biennial forum for intensive discussions on long-term research in advanced accelerator physics and technology, for applications ranging from high energy physics to photon science. AAC2014 will organize into working groups covering the following topical areas:

 

  • Laser-Plasma Wakefield Acceleration

  • Computations for Accelerator Physics

  • Laser and High-Gradient Structure-Based Acceleration

  • Beam-Driven Acceleration

  • Beam and Radiation Generation, Monitoring, and Control

  • Laser-Plasma Acceleration of Ions

  • Muon Colliders and Advanced Concepts

  • Laser Technology for Laser-Plasma Accelerators​
